  • Bossington’s objective is to deliver a high return on capital for its financial partners and shareholders through judicious stock selection of commercial real estate in the UK, the application of defined strategies and its onward sale.
Our Approach
  • Bossington Portfolio Managers believes that real estate can significantly outperform other asset classes if it is treated like a business, and to this end, we devise for every property, strategic and commercial objectives akin to a business plan.
  • Using market knowledge and experience, Bossington targets properties having a definable opportunity to add value with a limited downside risk. The company also targets investments where micro-economic conditions might reasonably be expected to deliver above average rental and/or capital growth.
  • Bossington is not generally a long term holder of property; typically pursuing opportunities where the objectives are realisable within a 2 – 5 year timeframe, and recycling its financial resources in fresh opportunities.

  • Stephen Pay FRICS
    Stephen qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1984. Prior to founding Bossington Portfolio Managers Ltd, he was a partner with a firm of property consultants based in the City of London. He has over twenty five years experience of the commercial property markets in the UK, principally in the investment, development and property finance sectors. Previous positions include UK company director with responsibility for managing out and disposing of a “bad loan” portfolio for a group of overseas investors/shareholders and director of a publicly quoted firm of surveyors.
  • Paul Mather FRICS
    Paul qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1983 when he was Estates Surveyor for Marsh McLennan with responsibility for their UK property portfolio. He then spent seventeen years with Greycoat plc, latterly as Group Portfolio Manager with overall responsibility for their central London and UK investment properties, before founding Bossington Portfolio Managers Ltd. Paul is an experienced asset manager who has successfully developed and applied a variety of techniques for driving rental and capital values.
